The Runway of War - A Haiku

An old photograph of a bomber, a North American B-25 Mitchell, landing on an aircraft carrier has recently given me a small spark of inspiration. This picture, taken decades before my time, hangs framed and isolated on my office wall, always in sight from my desk.

Safe for one more flight.
