To Strengthen Understanding - Sonnet 22

"It's meaningless", they say; and so it is,

If that is where your mind shifts any more

Attention: onward, out beyond a shore

Of white-capped waves which, post-analysis,

Look indistinguishable from the next

Crescendo of the tide, a never-ending loop.

And while a beauty should be found in troops

Of ocean lost in rank, the picture pressed

Does not inflame the heart. And closing such,

A way to truly grasp the soul, so blue

With life, is holding its polarity. And you

Shall see: the world has not changed all that much,

But rather what we pay attention to.

To strengthen understanding, mind your view.
