Stop Scrolling
How would I have known
That this cup of coffee
Would be the best I ever had
Until I drank its last drop?
I should keep this empty mug
To commemorate the memory
Of when it was still full.
I am a floating head of information
That desires only a glance
Upon the fountain of wisdom;
For when I taste its clear dewdrops,
May I then find some worth in knowledge.
I pause to think, and dare I wonder,
If the best to happen to me
Has already passed me by,
And if I was ever the fool
To be looking for it elsewhere…
